Safety and Recognition: MTWC Receives Product Safety Award

  • MTWC received the Product Safety Award from the Energy Commission of Malaysia.

2019

Diversification Continues: MTWC Ventures into Fibre Optic and Solar DC Cables

  • MTWC started the trading of fibre optic cables and related products.
  • MTWC started to produce solar DC power cables with conductor sizes above 16 mm2 and trade solar DC power cables with conductor sizes between 1.5 mm2 and 16 mm2 for customers in the solar photovoltaic industry.
  • MTWC obtained its ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety Management System Certification from Care Certification Private Limited.

2018

Quality and Environmental Commitment: MTWC Upgrades ISO Certifications

  • MTWC upgraded its ISO 14001:2004 Certification to ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System Certification from AFNOR.
  • MTWC upgraded its ISO 9001:2008 Certification to ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Certification from AFNOR.

2016

Plant Expansion: MTWC Builds Plant 3 for Aluminum-Cored LV Power Cables

  • MTWC constructed Plant 3, to mainly carry out the production of aluminium-cored LV power cables.

2015

Aluminum in Focus: MTWC's Aluminum-Conductor LV Power Cables

  • MTWC started the production of LV power cables using aluminium conductors, mainly for its power utility customers.

2012

Innovative Materials: MTWC's Introduction of LSZH LV Power Cables

  • MTWC started the production of LV power cables using LSZH materials.

2011

Expansion Continues: MTWC Constructs Plant 2 and Earns Export Excellence Award

  • MTWC constructed Plant 2 to expand LV power cables production.
  • MTWC started the production of control and instrumentation cables.
  • MTWC received the SME Export Excellence Award from SMI Association of Malaysia.

2010

Diversification: MTWC's Entry into Instrumentation and Fire-Resistant Cables

  • MTWC started the manufacturing of instrumentation cables and fire-resistant cables.

2009

Accolades and Growth: MTWC's Golden Bull Award and Plant Relocation

  • MTWC received the Golden Bull Award from Business Media International Sdn Bhd.
  • MTWC started the production of XLPE insulated LV power cables (up to 1kV) with either armoured or non-armoured protection layers.
  • MTWC obtained the ISO 14001:2004 Certification for its Environmental Management System from AFNOR.
  • MTWC shifted its entire manufacturing operations to Kawasan Perindustrian Rembia at Alor Gajah, Melaka by setting up Plant 1 to manufacture LV power cables.

2008

Global Expansion and Quality Recognition: MTWC's ISO Certification

  • MTWC started to export its products to the overseas markets such as Singapore, Brunei, Vietnam and Cambodia.
  • MTWC obtained the ISO 9001:2008 Certification for its Quality Management System from AFNOR.

2006

Commencement of Operations: MTWC's Venture into Cable Manufacturing

  • MTWC commenced its business and manufacturing operations.
  • MTWC started the manufacturing of PVC insulated LV power cables and AWM cables for the electronic appliances and systems.

2005

Foundation and Focus: MTWC's Entry into LV Power Cable Manufacturing
